The loved ones support, time and attention are very important for a person undergoing depression. The family will help ease up the burden of depression. It is important to note that the support of loved ones maybe helpful but it is not enough to help the person get out of the depressed state. It is important that the patient is willing to get out and overcome his depression. He must also do his part by reaching out and creating a stronger bond with his loved ones and social network. If this happens inside the family, make sure you reach out and help your family member get out of insecurity and negativity. The battle against depression is can be defeated. You just need to consistently exert effort, time and most importantly, love.
