How To Live A Simple Comfortable Good Life
Introduction: A lot of people associate the good life with money, and that is the main reason why plenty aren’t happy at where they are right now. The good life is not dictated by what you have or what you don’t have, but by how you live your life regardless of your financial and social status.

Things You’ll Need: writing materials, sports or hobby equipment, self opinionated, mirror, looking life at a perspective
Step 1: Make a list of all the things that you are grateful for. Using your writing materials, write down all the other good things that you are happy or grateful about. No matter how harsh life may be, surely there are still a lot of good stuff happening around.
Step 2: When painful emotions take place, redirect your attention to something else. The best way to avoid holding negative emotions is to reminisce good things in life. Take out your list and read it again.
Step 3. Pay off your debts. Nothing else can eat you up more than the constant worry about pending debts. Refrain from loaning off things and don’t use your credit card. Live frugally until you don’t have any debt left except for your mortgage.
Step 4. Take your note pad out again and start listing your goals in life. List what you want to achieve on a short term basis, and list down your long term goals as well. Remember though, that your goals have to be attainable and realistic. Here are some examples:
- Make someone smile everyday
- Think of something that interests you to make you busy
- Reading a book a week
Step 5. Face the mirror say to yourself that you’re beautiful. That’s not narcissism, that’s boosting your confidence. Because when you start feeling good, you’ll be looking good as well.
Step 6: Stick with your budget, AT ALL TIMES. The wants in life sometimes cause unhappiness to many especially when these are not met. Bear in mind all the time your financial responsibilities. If you want something really badly then buy it if you can afford it. Otherwise, save up and buy it some other time. Never use your credit card or make another loan to purchase the item.
Step 7: Value your relationship with others especially with your family. Do you currently share a good relationship with your parents, siblings and or friends? If not, make an effort to tweak it and bend it the right way. Foster healthy relationship with them as well as bridging gaps.
Step 8: Make busy with a new sport. If there’s something that interests you and you think is fun to do, then for a change try it!
Step 9: Live a healthy lifestyle. This means that you do not only have a healthy body but a sound mind as well. Take control of your diet and lifestyle. A better and healthier life awaits you if you do this.
Step 10. Always think positive. Whether it’s about your current situation, or about the way you look – confidence is still key.
Tips:
- Try to live and adapt to it. Understand that there are things you can and you can’t buy.
- Work hard for the things that you can’t. Not everything is free in life.
- Smile, laugh and enjoy life.
Warnings:
- Laughter is still the best medicine but don’t over do it because you might be mistaken as something else.
- A realistic look at your life helps prevent future letdowns and heartaches.
