Though several feel that the downslide in popularity of search engines flows from the rise of Bing, the recent search engine from Microsoft, it seems like there’s to a greater extent to it then that. In December of 2009, Yahoo represented at 22% in customer searches, in January of 2010 it had reduced to 17%. Is it possible that this something that Bing could really be responsible for?
SEO constitutes a flourishing field, but in the preceding eight years, matters have shifted quite a bit. Although a lot of the identical search engine marketing maneuvers are still implemented, the procedure has become a much more complicated one.

The latest in social media options is Google’s Buzz and while they may be the leader on the web, the word is that this service needs a lot of work to become a serious competitor in the current market. With top ranking social media sites like Facebook, My Space and Twitter on top, there is no room for anything less than functional with competition like this.
