Trusting People
So I wanted to share some of my thoughts on trusting people. When push comes to shove the only person you can ever really trust is yourself (and if you are Christian then you can trust in God). Knowing this means that you should understand that you must put your trust in yourself. You must believe in yourself and realize what you are capable of and what your limitations are.
What I mean by this applies to different areas of life. One important area is your health. There are a lot of unforeseen complications that can happen from standard procedures and other common medications that are used. For example, did you know that it is standard for teenagers in the U.S. to have their wisdom teeth removed if they are healthy and impacted. But in Britain it is not standard and does not happen. To find out more about this I encourage you to read http://www.teethremoval.com
Another area this applies to is relationships. Your parents want what is best for you in life. However, this does not always mean that they know what is best for you. You need to think long and hard about what you think is the best for yourself and your future success and growth. This also applies to romantic partners and boyfriends and girlfriends. Do not put too much trust into them right away or you may be hurt. Even if you are serious witht them I would still not put all your trust in them, especially if they are still in the teenage and younger years.
You also can not trust in elected officials. They may say something that they plan to do and then never accomplish there plans.
